Makita LS1016L 260mm TCT Slide Compound Mitre Saw (110v)

Featuring Makita's new DXT technology for deep and exact cutting, the Makita LS1016L features 4 telescopic poles instead of the traditional 2 which gives far greater accuracy and reduces vibration. The 4 telescopic poles are supported by 6 linear ball bearings to provide a smooth and precise sliding action which is a pleasure to use. Thanks to the 3 stage gear reduction unit and movable rear guard cutting capacities are greatly increased and the unit has a cutting capacity of 91 x 279mm at 90° and gives a true 45° cut left and 60° right.

The LS1016L also features a laser that lines up the blade with the cutting line for ultimate accuracy and a smooth double sliding guide fence. The saw head can be rotated to any angle with a quick turn of the front facing handle and has positive stops at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6° and 45° and can also be manually locked to any angle.
