Makita LS0714 190mm Slide Compound Mitre Saw (240v/110v)

The Makita LS0714 is a single speed mitre saw boasts a double slide action, enabling the machine to be compact but also boast a large cross cut capacity. Featuring the unique double slide action, a set of slides can be found at the rear of the motor and another pair can be found at the rear of the table, the action is very smooth and positive due to the linear bearing used. This machine will effortlessly cut timbers to a maximum depth of 52mm and a cross cut capacity of 300mm at 90°. The base moves left and right and has positive stops at the most popular angles but it will also achieve angles up to 57° one way and 47° the other way.

The clear plastic blade guard total surrounds the lower part of the blade and when the lever is pressed down and the head pushed down the guard swings back and when released the guard will swing back to protect you from the blade. The switch on this machine requires 2 actions, the first is to push the button found on the top of the handle and then secondly to pull the main switch in, the button on the top off the machine is also a safety feature that once removed the machine will not be able to start.
