Makita KP0810K 82mm Heavy Duty Planer (240v)

The Makita KP0810K is a modern looking 82mm wide planer and is now fitted with all of the requirements needed to be a market leader. With its easy to adjust and read, front depth knob allowing for planning up to a maximum depth of 4mm to the little things such as a hinged rear plastic parking shoe that elevates the planer allowing it to be placed on a work surface before the blades have stopped. The excellent dust extraction port is double sided and a plug is supplied to block of the side not being used so avoiding the shavings going everywhere.

The handle has a rubber grip fitted offering greater comfort when in use and the switch features a lock on/off button that is accessible from both sides. You have the option of a 'constant speed under load' switch which, in certain circumstances is an excellent feature but not a necessity, this planer in time will become the industries first choice.
