The Makita HR3001CJ is a mid-range multi-purpose utility drill suitable for plumbers, electricians and general builders with a capacity of 30mm in concrete, 32mm in timber and 13mm in steel.

The HR3001CJ is well balanced, lightweight (4.5kg) and features a rubberised, anti-vibration main handle to reduce user fatigue. The HR3001CJ has a "no hammering when idling" function that helps increase tool life and is suitable for TCT core drilling and diamond core drilling up to 80mm.

Other features include constant speed control that increases power to the motor depending upon load and a torque limiter to protect the user from snagging.
