The Makita HR140D 12v Max rotary hammer is part of the CXT (Compact Extreme Technology) range that feature compact and powerful tools built with uncompromising quality as you would expect from the UK's number 1 power tool manufacturer. All CXT tools feature 12v Lithium-Ion slide in batteries with multi-contact terminals to ensure constant contact even under extreme work vibration, LED fuel gauge indicators and individual cell monitoring with circuit protection.
The Makita HR140D is a lightweight and well-balanced rotary hammer drill suitable for all types of masonry including brickwork, blocks and concrete and has a maximum capacity of 14mm plus rotary only mode for drilling steel and wood. Other features include a vibration-absorbing housing, one-touch sliding chuck for rapid bit installation and removal, LED job light for increased visibility and an ergonomic soft-grip handle that fits comfortably in your hand.
