The Makita HM0810T single speed demolition hammer uses the old style 17mm hex shank chisels and points but don't let that put you off, still widely available the 17mm hex was once the norm until the SDS MAX fitting came along.

Weighing a mere 5.5kg and fitted with a powerful 900w motor producing 2,900 blows per minute this little machine produces a hammer blow of 8.5 joules making it an ideal machine for hacking of render, plaster and tiles etc and breaking up off concrete.
