The Makita DUH523 hedge trimmer features a 520mm double sided stain free shear blade with a surface of glittering silver obtained by non-electrolyzed nickel plating that features high anti-abrasion surface for long life. This makes it user replaceable without the need to disassemble the housing.

The rubberised soft grip provides a comfortable and sure grip and the anti-vibration structure has 5 cushions that absorb the vibration from the blade and crank. A battery indicator on the handle flashes red when power is getting low and is solid red when battery power is exhausted.
