Makita DTW1002Z 18v Brushless 1/2" Impact Wrench (Body Only)

The Makita DTW1002Z is a high torque cordless impact wrench with a maximum tightening torque of 1,000Nm, supplied here as a body only unit, no batteries, charger or carry case.

The DTW1002Z features a brushless motor that increases battery run time by 30-40% and features an ergonomic soft grip for firm control and reduced vibration. An electronic 3-stage impact power selection (Hard/Medium and Soft) deliver a huge maximum torque of 1,000Nm and a nut busting torque of 1,600Nm means it can loosen a bolt that has been tightened up to 1,600Nm. Other features include twin LED lights to illuminate the work area, an electric brake stops rotation almost immediately the trigger is released and a protection circuit prevents battery overload and overheating. Bolt capacities are M12-M30 in standard bolts and M10-M24 in high tensile.

This unit accepts standard ½" impact sockets but a ring spring on the square drive means that the pin and O-ring are not required meaning faster bit change.
