The Makita DTD157 18v impact driver is part of the Makita LXT family of tools that use the same batteries and chargers across the range and features a brushless motor that improves runtime by around 30%. The DTD157 is a sub-compact unit making it ideal for use in tight spaces, and has an LED light for easier bit alignment in dark cupboards and corners. With a maximum fastening torque of 140Nm, the DTD157 has the power to cope with medium to light heavy applications and the electronic 2-speed impact power selection means the power can be matched to the task.

Other features include assist-mode for controlled screwdriving, anti bit-wobbling for less vibration and an aluminium hammer casing for long service life.
