Makita DLW140Z Twin 18v Brushless 355mm Cut Off Saw (Body Only)

The Makita DLW140Z cut off saw provides all the advantages of a mains tool without the constraints of a power cord making it portable and ideal for site and maintenance work. Powered by a 4 pole highly efficient 36v brushless motor that is powered by 2 x 18v Li-Ion batteries connected in series, brushless motors have longer runtime per charge, require zero maintenance and produce less heat making them ideal for longer production periods.

The DLW140Z has a 4 bar LED overload indicator that allows the operator to see the load being produced on the motor and adjust the pressure being applied for optimal cutting performance. Tool-less blade change allows quick abrasive wheel replacement without the need for tools and a quick release clamp holds the cutting material securely.

Other features include a large spark guard, comfortable "D" handle for a comfortable grip and an electric brake to stop rotation when the trigger is released. This unit accepts abrasive wheels 355 with a 25.4mm bore and maximum thickness of 2.5mm and is compatible with all Makita 18v LXT Lithium Ion batteries, please note that the unit will only operate providing both batteries have charge.
