The Makita DJN161 is the cordless version of the ever popular JN1601. This machine is sure to be popular with engineering, electrical, plumbing and the drywall trades.

Featuring a comfortable rubberised grip and easily accessible slide on/off switch with lock on function. This unit has cutting capacities of 1.6mm in mild steel, 1.2mm in stainless steel and 2.5mm in aluminium and is ideal for curved cutting.

The DJN161 is fitted with an LED warning light to advise the user if it is being overloaded and a safety feature to stop the motor from starting in the event of the switch being left in the on position while a battery is inserted.
