Makita DHS680Z 18v Brushless Circular Saw (Body Only)

The Makita DHS680Z 18v circular saw features a highly efficient brushless motor providing more power and longer run time. Automatic speed control adjusts the motor speed according to load condition for optimum operation so on a light duty load the motor runs at high speed whereas on a heavier duty operation the motor will run at high torque. The no load speed of this unit is 5,000rpm which is over 35% faster than it's predecessor the DSS610 which will allow for faster cutting almost on par with electric machines.

Features on the DHS680Z include twin LED lights to illuminate the cutting line plus a blower to keep it clear, 3 panel LED battery indicator, tool hanger and rubberised grip for greater control and less vibration. Single lever depth control provides a maximum cut of up to 57mm and this saw is capable of bevel cuts up to 50°.

This unit is both lightweight (just 3.3kg) and compact and the cast base has a special coating to allow it to glide easily over the cutting surface.
