Makita DC40RB 40v Max XGT Twin Port Charger (240v)

The Makita DC40RB charger has twin ports making it able to charge two batteries from the 40v Max XGT range at the same time. Batteries and chargers from the XGT range are equipped with enhanced electronics that communicate with each other allowing for optimised charge times and enhanced battery life. Twin fans keep the battery cells and charger electronics cool and maximise charge time to 28 minutes on a BL4025 and 45 minutes on a BL4040.

A clear LED display changes from flashing green to flashing blue to indicate charging has started and solid blue once the battery has reached 80% charge. Once fully charged, the indicator turns to solid green and chosen melody will play if selected. The DC40RB is wall mountable for a van or workshop and features an electronic current limiter for overload protection.

The DC40RB can also charge 18v LXT batteries when used in conjunction with the ADP10 adaptor, which is available as an optional extra.
