The Makita DC18SH is the little brother to the DC18RD with slower charging times but at a price point to suit twin 18v tool users that do not require faster charging times. The DC18SH charger is compatible with Makita 18v LXT batteries and can charge two batteries simultaneously.

Intelligent charging manages voltage and current communicating with the battery for optimum charging, extended battery life while a fan circulates cool air around the cells to prevent overheating. Other features include LED indicators that display battery charge status and current limiter for overload protection.
