The Makita DA4031 2 speed, reversible 13mm keyed chuck angle drill has a very impressive 1050w motor with drilling speeds of 300rpm in the low gear and 1200rpm in the high gear.

When drilling large holes it is always advisable to use the machine in the low gear as this is where you will achieve the highest torque, for this reason Makita have fitted the DA4031 with a torque limiter to the first gear for the user's safety when drilling large holes.
