The Makita BO4555 single speed palm sander has a sanding base of 112mm x 102mm and is designed to be held in the palm of the hand, hence the name palm sander. Weighing a mere 1.1kg these sanders can be used for a multitude of uses around the home and in an industrial environment. The base is of the hook and loop variety meaning that the abrasive sheets can be changed in seconds, 2 clamps secure the papers and prevent slipping. The handle has a rubberised grip for user comfort and to reduce vibrations.
