The Makita BL4050F (191L47-8) 40v Max XGT 5Ah battery has been developed for high demand tools used in continuous operations. The casing has a new design that protects the battery from dust and moisture, plus shock-absorbing padding protects it from drop impact damage.

Two-way digital communication between the battery, tool and charger protects the battery from over-discharge or overheating and the intelligent onboard monitoring records detailed information on the battery history.
