Description
The Makita 4329 single speed, variable jigsaw is Makita's entry level machine, with a 450watt motor and is aimed at the light industrial and DIY market. It has a cutting depth of 65mm in timber and 6mm in mild steel. This machine accepts the common bayonet style jigsaw blades which are readily available, they are held in place by a hexagon key headed bolt.
Fitted to the front of this machine is a clear chip guard that enables the user to view the material being cut without getting covered in debris but it can be pushed up out of the way to enable you to easily change blades. It is fitted with an aluminium base plate and a metal sub plate set in to the base of this, this can easily be removed if it gets marked or damaged rather than having to replace the whole base.
